KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:?Responsible for supplier identification according to internal customer requirements;?Facilitate process/product realization development at Trauson suppliers, as well as the components for devices built at Trauson manufacturing sites.?Actively drives cost reduction, quality improvements, and innovation in new products through partnership with R&D, Advanced Operation, Production and suppliers within the new product development process.?Knows and applies good fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of the advanced manufacturing and process engineering specialization.?Quality in advanceoPartner with R&D early in the development process to ensure quality is designed into the product with a goal to exceed scrap, rework, and capacity targets at time of launch.oBuild the bridge between Trauson and supplier technical personnel to ensure Design for Manufacturability/Assembly considerations are incorporated into new products.?Customer ExperienceoSupport Operations build plan goals through assurance of supply by performing capability analysis of suppliers prior to making sourcing decisions.oSupport Strategic Sourcing goals by providing input on manufacturing systems, production controls, validation systems, capacity, and manufacturing cost at suppliers.oSupport R&D and Marketing team goals by providing innovative solutions, attaining project timeline milestones, and executing flawless new product launch at suppliers.?Financial ResultsoMinimize new product cost by simplifying the supply chain, optimizing product design (DFM/DFA), and improving operational efficiency and purchasing processes.oRelentlessly pursue opportunities to reduce cost without having a negative impact on the aesthetics or functionality of new products.?InnovationoInvestigate, analyze and develop new suppliers to bring an adequate medical device supply base to Trauson.oPartner with suppliers to ensure the latest technological innovations are incorporated into our product and process designs.?People DevelopmentoBuild relationships within Trauson by becoming a value-added and sought after resource.oBuild trusting relationships with suppliers to facilitate partnerships and knowledge sharing.REQUIRED SKILL SET：?Mechanical background with adequate machining and metal processing knowledge;?Good communication skill, good English in reading and written;?Skillful Microsoft Office software using ability;?30%+ travel.RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:?5+ years experience in process development, supplier development, or related discipline?Broad and in-depth knowledge of good manufacturing practices and industry standards?Previous experience with a variety of manufacturing processes
